Our effectiveness depends on member support. Membership Cycle SSWAN offers an annual membership cycle coinciding with an academic calendar year: September to August Membership Benefits - Ancillary membership in the Midwest School Social Work Council - Direct contact information with School Social Work associates in Nebraska - Professional advocacy at national, regional and state levels - Special rate for annual SSWAN state conference in the Spring of every year - Training and professional development - Expanded recognition of the needs and benefits of the profession of School Social Work Membership Categories REGULAR membership is $30/year for Master's or Bachelor's degreed Social Workers employed in a School Social Work capacity.
